  • 1 Mixing Bowl

Ingredients
  

Wet Ingredients:

  • ½ cup 115g unsalted butter
  • 1 cup 200g granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Dry Ingredients:

  • cup 40g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup 65g all-purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp baking powder

Add-ins:

  • ½ cup 90g mini chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • 1-Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini muffin tin.
  • 2-In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  • 3-Remove from heat and stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  • 4-Add cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Mix gently until just combined.
  • 5-Fold in mini chocolate chips.
  • 6-Spoon the batter into the mini muffin tin, filling each cavity about ¾ full.
  • 7-Bake for 16–18 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
  • 8-Let cool in the tin for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Letting them cool in the tin ensures they hold their shape and don’t crumble. These store well in an airtight container for up to 4 days and can also be frozen.
